Jump Ring Info

I carry jump rings in sterling silver (.925), 14k gold filled, silver filled, jewelry brass, and copper. My wire is sized according to the American Wire Gauge. I coil the wire on a hardened steel mandrel and then cut the coil into separate jump rings with a high speed precision saw for perfectly flush cuts.

Ring sizes are made up of the gauge of the wire, and the diameter of the mandrel it is wrapped around. The size of the mandrel equals the size of the INNER diameter of the ring.

The different type of metal differs slightly in weight, so I've made a chart with the ring count per ounce troy for each of my ring sizes, as well as the approximate outer diameter of each size. Please note that these numbers are approximate, not exact, but a very good estimate. If you would like a size not listed, please contact me and I will see what I can do! 

NOTE ON INNER AND OUTER DIAMETER: The inner diameter listed is the diameter of the mandrel I coil the wire on. After coiling, some springback will occur, resulting in a slightly larger inner and outer diameter listed. The larger the diameter of the ring, the more springback there will be.
