Oxidation Service - one time charge

Add this item to your cart if you would like me to oxidize any portion of your jump rings order. No need to add this product more than once - for $5 I will oxidize EVERY ring in your order, or just the rings you would like oxidized! Oxidation services are for rings purchased by weight ONLY -- Kits are generally pre-assembled rather than assembled to order, and therefore cannot be oxidized.

Important: Please be very specific in the "Order Instructions/Comments" box when you check out.

• oxidation is NOT offered for brass or gold filled rings, as these metals do not oxidize with the process I use.
• I aim for a uniform blackest-black patina, but please realize that in reality, it is a dark (think gunmetal) gray. 
• rings are oxidized to order. therefore, your order processing time will be extended depending on the amount of oxidizing you would like me to do. Allow an additional 3-5 days for your order to ship.
• oxidized coloring/patina will vary depending on the metal of the ring. Photo shows oxidized sterling silver.

Oxidation is a surface layer of oxides applied by a chemical (very smelly) process. This surface layer WILL wear away over time with wear, and can be abraded/sanded away for beautiful effect.
